Conductor

Michaela Rozsa Ruzickova is a conductor based in Prague, Czech Republic, known for her dynamic and expressive performances. With over a decade of experience leading both concert and session orchestras, Michaela has conducted numerous film scores and orchestral recordings for music albums. Arranger & Orchestrator

Michaela is also a creative arranger and orchestrator, known for her meticulous and precise approach to creating cinematic, epic, and impressionistic soundscapes. She draws inspiration from a range of sources, including John Metcalfe, Henry Mancini, Vangelis, as well as classical composers, and her deep and practical knowledge of instrumentation helps her to create scores that are rich and complex. Michaela has collaborated with some of the most esteemed A-list musicians, directors, and producers, creating inter-genre fusions that combine classical orchestral sound with electronics.

Singer

Michaela is a clasiccally trained opera singer with experience performing in a variety of genres, from operas and musicals to pop and ethno music. She has recorded albums and collaborated with renowned composers and musicians, drawing on her training under the world-famous soprano, Magdaléna Hajóssyová. Michaela's expressive style and versatile voice have made her a sought-after collaborator. She frequently works with her husband, pianist and composer Juraj Růžička, and has recorded duets with mezzo-soprano Hana Dobešová, as well as performing in chamber concerts with organist Markéta Šmejkalová and tenor Dušan Růžička.

Music Educator

Michaela is not only an active performer and conductor, but also a dedicated music educator. As a guest lecturer for the prestigious Comenius Group's Leadership Course based in Netherlands, Michaela shares her expertise on emotions in music with highly positioned managers and CEOs who travel to Prague to attend her lectures. For over a decade, her lessons have been highly esteemed and valued, offering unique insights into how musicians and performers use emotions to enhance their craft. Michaela's passion for teaching is rooted in her belief that music can have a transformative power, and she loves sharing her knowledge and expertise with students of all ages and levels. Her approach is warm, engaging, and student-centered, with a focus on fostering creativity and expression.
